Children of Mendiola

Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas, Salinlahi and Gabriela led the march of the children from different cities and municipalities in NCR region to fight against poverty.

The march started at Loreto Church in Sampaloc straight to Chino Roces bridge in Mendiola, Manila.

They are members of the organizations that arrange the rally. The children are asking for a permanent housing plan for the poor family. Representative of each district that joined were given time for a speech. Children are aware of the issues that our country is facing now.

The endless isssue about CHA-CHA is also tackled in the said movement.

Several prominent personalities are aslo present in the said event like Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) Secretary General Danny Santos.
